These tours are organized by Montréal International in collaboration with ICAO to boost awareness of the city’s aviation and aerospace ecosystem, comprising international civil aviation organizations, innovative manufacturers and SMEs, as well as teaching and research institutions in the Montréal region.

Organized by Aéro Montréal, this day will feature a competition challenging college and university students in aeronautics / aerospace, on the topic of end-of-life recycling of aircraft. The students selected will defend their solutions to a jury of experts, with the top team winning a trip to Toulouse, France, to tour companies in the region’s industry cluster, Aerospace Valley, with which Aéro Montréal recently established a strategic partnership. Lectures and an exhibition are also on the agenda for the ÉTS Open House, in collaboration with various industry partners.
As part of its International Leaders program, the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal has invited Bertrand Piccard, pilot of the now-famous Solar Impulse plane, which made a round-the-world trip without fuel, to share his experience and vision of the future of green technologies in aviation.
